File Preparation Guide
Avoid delays and reprints. Follow these guidelines to ensure your files are production-ready for our Canon imagePROGRAF TM-300.
Accepted File Formats
PDF (Press Quality / High Resolution)
TIFF (Uncompressed, 300+ DPI)
JPEG / PNG (Full resolution only)
Flattened PDF from AutoCAD, Revit, etc.
Resolution Requirements
Minimum 150 DPI at final print size. 300 DPI recommended.
Vector-based PDFs preferred. Raster at 300 DPI minimum.
If your image looks pixelated at 100% zoom on screen, it will look worse printed large.
Color Profile
sRGB color space for best results on our Canon TM-300.
Grayscale or pure Black & White is fine.
Colors may vary slightly between your screen and the final print. We cannot guarantee exact color matching.
Bleed & Safe Zone
Add 0.25" bleed on all sides if you want edge-to-edge printing.
Keep all important text/logos at least 0.5" from the trim edge.
If you don't need borderless, no bleed is necessary.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
Phone screenshots and social media downloads are too small for large prints.
Make sure your CAD drawing is at the correct plot scale before exporting.
Outline or embed all fonts. Missing fonts will be substituted.
Flatten all layers before exporting to prevent print errors.
